We don’t really know what to write on one of these things. We're terrible at talking about ourselves, but we really open up after a nice glass of wine. We like having dinner by the fireplace, watching old romantic comedies and going on long walks along the beach. We're really just looking for a connection that we can have fun with. Someone that knows what they want and doesn't need to commit after a few dinners. But mostly we're looking for somebody that's funny, honest and kind. OK. Let's be honest. That is weird. It is weird to start an 'about us' section on a website with a single paragraph that uses all of the top ten clichés of online dating profiles. But ... is it weirder than dedicating a website to 'strange baby Jesus faces'? Yes. We are a dedicated team full of synergy, an attitude of disruption and we proactively think outside the box. We are driven by one single motivation: we hope that our gastroenterologist has good curtains.

We are based in Switzerland, but originate from the Netherlands. Fun fact: the Netherlands is both the lowest and the highest country in the world. It has been the lowest country in the world as far back as the 14th century, when its inhabitants started to reclaim the land back from the sea. This meant that a significant part of the country, to this day, still lies below the sea level. In contrast, the ascendance of the Netherlands to the top ranking of 'highest countries in the world' came relatively recent in 1976 when cannabis consumption was legalized.

The Netherlands is genuinely a happy country, and that is by design. It legalized marijuana to make people happy. It legalized gay marriage to make people happy. It legalized prostitution to make people happy. And for everyone who still wasn't happy after that ... it legalized euthanasia.

The team behind www.strangebabyjesusfaces.com lives by very few principles: We drink hot sparkling tea, add vitamins to our vape pens and wear 3D lenses instead of goggles. Our clocks tick with a varying frequency with a normal distribution around 1 Hz, we use titanium:sapphire laser pointers and we are dumb enough to think we understand the Dunning-Kruger effect. We offer night tours through major cities at 03:30 in the morning to avoid the crowds, make art projects about fridges in the workplace and stick our umbrellas inside the casing of a samurai sword. We buy up domain names for soon-to-be-independent countries, use facial recognition AI to call poker players' bluffs and place our ovens inside of our refrigerators.
